Ithaca, 18 February 08 -- Ithaca College's men's lacrosse team was picked eighth in the pre-season men's lacrosse poll, with four Bombers named to the pre-season All-American team, but the squad has a month of games on the road before the arrival of springtime allows IC to schedule any games in Ithaca. Ithaca will start its schedule on February 23rd in Williamsport, PA, against Lycoming College, and travel to Scranton, Oneonta, and Alfred, with a two-game jaunt to California along the way, before opening their spring home season on March 22nd against Cortland.
The Bomber women open at Cornell's Schoellkopf field for a home game against Wells on March 7th before heading to West Palm Beach, Florida.
Cornell's men's and women's lacrosse teams have similar southern swings, in Maryland, North Carolina, and Tennessee, early in their schedules.
