Ithaca, 21 March 08 -- Big Red men's ice hockey ended their championship quest on a 3-1 loss to Harvard in the late game in Friday's semifinal round of the ECAC Hockey tournament. Cornell was unable to capitalize on its handful of power play opportunities to come from behind.

"If we'd tied it up it would have been a totally different game," said senior Ray Sawada. "We got a lot of chances in the slot, but we didn't capitalize."

The Red made it to albany on last weekend's quarterfinal sweep at Union. Cornell will face Colgate in tomorrow afternoon's consolation game to finish out the season.
